This Gondi Dhemsa Dance is performed by different Tribal Communities of Central India. Both males and females from the Gond community of all age groups participate in this dance. Everyone is free to dance in their own style. This dance is generally performed during the marriage ceremony throughout the night while worshipping the God and Goddess for the prosperity and happiness of the couple. Musical Instruments like Drum and trumpets are used in the dance.
