Ghusadi dance is a traditional dance of Gond tribe of Maharashtra. The Gond resides in the bordering area of Maharashtra and Telangana states. The Gond install Lord Yathmasur Pain in their region eight days before Diwali festival, they start Ghusadi Dance to worship the Lord. The performers put on hats prepared with feathers of peacocks and dressed in a very colorful and attractive way. They paint their body in white limestone, and put on necklaces made up of different seeds, wearing small bells on the waist and anklets, they perform the dance. While dancing, they put a stick in one hand and the skin of an animal in another hand. Drum, Tumung, Paper Sanaei, Kalikome are instruments used to play music.
