The soligas are an aboriginal forest tribe inhabiting the interior of forest skiting the slopes of Biligiriranga betta hills on the southern eastern border of mysore district. the soliga language is known as soligara kannada or soliga nudi, which is mixture of kannada and tamil and it has more affinity with kannada.
